How the SeaGuardian App Works

SeaGuardian is more than an app, it’s a complete safety ecosystem designed  for boaters.  

Built on an intuitive interface, the app combines smart planning tools, real-time  monitoring, and emergency support to make every voyage safer and more  predictable. 

Key Features: Voyage Planning: Enter departure point, destination, estimated time of  departure, (ETD), estimated time of arrival (ETA) and emergency contacts. 

The  app automatically calculates routes, providing weather and tidal data for up to  4 days. Live GPS Tracking: Monitor your journey in real time with adjustable tracking  intervals (continuous, 5, 10, or 30 minutes) to conserve battery while  maintaining safety. 

Alerts: If you miss your ETA, the app sends SMS alerts to your designated  contacts and escalates it to the Global Control Centre on a Triage basis,  immediate action as required. 

Emergency Assistance: One-tap SOS button connects you directly to our Global  Control Centre/Emergency Services, transmitting your location for rapid  response. 

Safety Resources: Access checklists (safety checks, risk assessments), online  logbooks, nav plans, training records and task books, VHF channels, Coastguard  Station info, Notices to Mariners, etc., all in one place! 

Trip History: Review past voyages, share logs, proof of mileage and the ability  to export data for insurance or compliance purposes. 

SeaGuardian has been designed with simplicity in mind. 

Before setting sail,  users create a Nav Plan and activate tracking. During the trip, the app provides  real-time updates and alerts, ensuring peace of mind for the skipper and their  shore contacts. 

In an emergency, the SOS feature and Monitoring integration  ensures a fast and coordinated support is provided. 

SeaGuardian is launched in the UK, but the technology is built for global  incorporation. The platform integrates with international safety standards and  can adapt to different regions and its regulations.
